You do not need to be an FVMBA member to race, but we do encourage becoming a member in order to contribute to the local trails. Become a member now.

Because this is a FVMBA not-for-profit event NO REFUNDS will be issued; however, we will gladly defer your race until the next year.

The average racer can expect the full course to take approximately 3-5 hours, and the short course 1-1.5 hours

Parking is at Main Beach, Lot A & B at Cultus Lake. Paid Parking is in effect, coins or credits cards are accepted. Please do not park on residential streets or you will be towed!

Race plates can be picked up on race day at the registration table at Main Beach, Cultus Lake.

Vedder Mountain Classic – May 11, 2019

  • 7:30am – 9:00 am: Registration and Racer Plate Pick Up – Main Beach Cultus Lake
  • 9:30 am: Mandatory Race Meeting
  • 9:40 am: Racers can start checking into gates (all racers MUST be lined up by 9:55 am)
  • 10:00 am: Race Start

Yes, there are feed stations and medical assistance available.

Yes. The cut-off time is 5.5 hours.

There are no washrooms on course but indoor bathroom facilities are available at Main Beach, start/finish area.

There are 2 races running simultaneously, the 35 km long course and the 15 km short course. The categories are as follows:

Long Course:

  • Elite (men and women)
  • Junior Under 19
  • 19-29  (men and women)
  • 30-39   (men and women)
  • 40-44  (men and women)
  • 44-49  (men and women)
  • 50-54  (men and women)
  • 55-59  (men and women)
  • 60+  (men and women)

Short Course:

  • Under 19 (men and women)
  • 19-29  (men and women)
  • 30-39  (men and women)
  • 40-49  (men and women)
  • 50+  (men and women)
